The obverse of the coin depicts the full figure of Liberty, with a long gown and American flag draped across her shoulders and billowing around her. In one hand, she holds a bouquet of olive branches, while the other is held outstreched before her. The sun is rising before her with the inscription "Liberty" widely spaced above and "In God We Trust" behind her. Every letter and number are hand cut and electro plated with platinum and 24K gold.  | MORGAN DOLLAR The magnificent Morgan Dollar is a silver United States dollar coin. These dollars were minted from 1878-1904 and again for one year in 1921. The Morgan Dollar was named after designer George T. Morgan who designed the obverse and reverse of the coin. The dollar is also known as the Liberty Head Dollar because of the featured profile protrait of a left facing Lady Liberty. Surrounding the portrait of Miss Liberty are the words 'E PLURIBUS UNUM" (Latin for "Out of Many, One) and 13 stars.
